Data controller

Kraftgard is responsible for processing your personal data. Send any questions about how we handle personal data to integritet@kraftgard.eu.

What data we process and why

Quote requests

When you request a quote, we process your company name, company registration number, contact person, phone, email, industry, preferred delivery method, your message and the items you have selected.

  • Purpose: to answer your request and provide a quotation.
  • Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in communicating with business customers (Article 6(1)(f)).

Dealer applications

When you apply, we process your company name, company registration number, contact person, phone, email, website, type of business and your description of the business.

  • Purpose: to assess the application and enter into a dealer agreement.
  • Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) and legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).

Technical logging

The web server records IP address, time, requested page and browser type when you visit the website.

  • Purpose: operation and security, for example detecting and stopping intrusion attempts and overload.
  • Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).

Cookies and tracking

We use no cookies, no analytics tools and no tracking. Fonts, images and video are hosted on our own server, so no data about your visit is sent to third parties.

Items you add to a quote request are stored temporarily in your browser (sessionStorage) and deleted when you close the tab. They are only sent to us when you submit the form.

Who receives the data

Forms are sent to us by email via AhaSend, which is our data processor and stores data within the EU. AhaSend keeps the message content for at most 1 day and delivery data for at most 30 days. We never sell personal data and do not disclose it to others except where required by law.

We do not transfer personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA.

How long we keep the data

  • Quote requests and applications: for as long as the matter is ongoing and then for at most 24 months after the last contact.
  • If the contact leads to an agreement, the data is kept for as long as the agreement applies. Accounting records are kept for 7 years under the Swedish Bookkeeping Act.
  • Server logs: at most 30 days.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, to restrict or object to the processing and to receive the data in a machine-readable format. Contact integritet@kraftgard.eu. We reply within one month.

If you are dissatisfied with how we process your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se, or with the supervisory authority in the country where you live.
